About Sunrise on Wheels
A hospital stay can be a difficult and isolating experience, especially for children. That’s why Sunrise on Wheels was created—to bring a burst of joy to the lives of young patients undergoing treatment.
Our dedicated volunteers visit affiliated hospitals, equipped with a colorful rainbow trunk filled with toys, games, and art supplies, engaging with children awaiting treatment. Through play, arts and crafts, and shared activities, we aim to turn what could have been a bleak and depressing day into a day filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories.

When Sunrise on Wheels volunteers visit pediatric oncology units, they bring with them:
